Xzibit released his first album At the Speed of Life on October 1, 1996 via Loud, and RCA Records. The album consists of 15 songs, making the album approx 50 minutes long.
He was able to sell 84,000 copies of the album in U.S. The album peaked at #74 at Billboard 200.

- His stage name “Xzibit” is pronounced as “exhibit.”
- Xzibit was primarily raised by his single mom as his dad left the family early enough to become a successful preacher. But, after his mom’s death, he had to live with his dad at Albuquerque, New Mexico.
- He used to write rhymes from age 10 to 17.
- Xzibit started rapping at the age of 14.
- He first started rapping under the name “Exhibit A,” where A stands for Alvin (His real name).
