While she was in high school, she won a modeling contest in 2007 (when she was 16). But, she didn’t pursue modeling just after that. Her parents are really strict and didn’t allow Sara to skip school for modeling. So, after completing her schooling, she went to Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal to a university and completed her education.

Sara was not even allowed to skip school for even a few days. And, homeschooling was not an option for her in Portugal.
