1. When he was 7, Ray moved to the city of Enfield.
2. He took horse riding classes when he was younger.
3. Ray loves boxing. When he was 12, he attended boxing classes at the Repton Amateur Boxing Club. He won over 80 fights in the next decade. Ray also boxed for England and was a school champion in the welterweight tournament.
4. He is a great supporter of West Ham United football club.
5. Ray had a huge passion for acting, so when he was a kid, he and his father went to watch a movie in the cinema every Wednesday.
6. Winstone borrowed money from his mother’s friend and appeared in the Emil and the Detectives production, in which he played as a newspaper seller.
7. He is one of the founders of Size 9 Productions along with Michael Wiggs and Joshua St. Johnston.
8. Ray became bankrupt twice in his life. Once in 1988 and again in 1993.
