Mariah Carey gained weight when she was pregnant, back in 2011. She had to exercise after giving birth to her twins Moroccan and Monroe in April 2011, in order to lose accumulated weight. The legendary vocalist realized that the diet plans played a very important role in losing weight.

Mariah followed a consistent workout schedule. The exercises were not very intense though. She walked for an hour, few times in a week. She also jumped in the pool to do 45 to 90 minutes of aquatic exercises. She likes aerobics and water aerobics a lot and says that they are more effective than other exercises.
