1. Before he moved to Dinamo Zagreb in 2002, he was a part of the youth team of FC Zadar.
2. Since he signed a deal with Dinamo Zagreb (2003 – 2008), he was loaned to Zrinjski Mostar (2003 – 2004) and later to Inter Zapresic (2004 – 2005).
3. He lead Inter Zapresic to the second place in the Croatian league in 2004 – 2005 season, reserving the spot for the preliminary round in UEFA Cup (Now Europa League).
4. In 2007, Modric won the award for PRVA NHL “Player of the Year.”
5. Luka moved to Tottenham Hotspur in 2008 and to Real Madrid in 2012.
