Jada’s Lower Body Exercise Routine

Jada Pinkett Smith has wholeheartedly shared her favorite exercises with Shape.com that help her to shape her lower body, as well as her butt.

  1. Squat Raise – 3 sets of 6 reps
  2. Hip Thrust – 4 sets of 10-12 reps
  3. Single-Leg Deadlift – 3 sets of 10-12 reps
  4. Split Squat Twist – 3 sets of 10-12 reps
  5. Lateral Lunge and Reach – 3 sets of 6 reps
  6. Stair Jumps – 3 sets of 12-15 reps

She suggests that you should do cardio before these 6 exercises. It would be best if you take a one-minute break between every exercise to help your body to relax a bit. Following this routine once every 5 days would be good enough. The more, the better.

  • Compliments Matter

The diva believes that if one gets a lot of compliments, it motivates them to perform in a better manner. She shared her own experience and added

  • Never Miss a Workout

She urges that people can eat whatever is good for their body and can even indulge in a not so healthy weakness once in a while. She was quoted saying

“If I have a heavy carb week, I’ve got a heavy cardio week. I tell people all the time. You can eat whatever you want, as long as you’re willing to put the work in,’ and that’s a thing I had to learn. So I make sure I do something physical every single day.”

 

  • Short Workouts are Cool

Pinkett Smith works out for only 45 minute at a time, which includes 20 minutes of cardio. She believes that if the workout is consistent, it’s not necessary to keep it intense at all the times.
