However, she personally feels that women should not lift weights more than 3 pounds, after all it is just for toning purpose. The actress’ personal trainer also makes her sweat a lot to make her lose calories.

Paltrow has a carefully planned schedule of eating before and after her workouts. She usually has green tea early in the morning and then the breakfast consisting of protein shakes made up of almond milk, supplements and blueberries. She then moves on to the workout followed by kale juice and then a low carb-calorie lunch.

The Academy award winning actress has her own special food that she loves and is healthy as well. It is called the Lemony Grilled Chicken and is served with some steamed vegetables or vegetable salad.

Gwyneth has a point when she says it all boils down to what you eat between the three meals. It is important to make it healthy and low on calorie and yet give you energy. Her favorites are raw almonds, raisins, coconut water, kale juice, lemon juice and of course lots of water. The turkey kale soup is what she have for dinner, giving a light end to the day. She avoids processed foods in any form.

More often, we see celebrities keeping themselves away from fast foods and chocolates and being all paranoid about even being near one. Well, that is not the case with Gwyneth. She loves fries, cakes and other so called ‘junk’ foods. But she has it all in moderation and not to the content of her heart. She believes if you stay away from the foods you love, then it creates a psychological impact and leads you to depression and anxiety. Hence, the inclusion of such foods occasionally into your body is important.
