    Personal Trainer

Berto is one of the most explosives and probably the quickest boxer in his weight class. In order to have speed and power like Andre does, one boxer should always do both, skill training and weightlifting training. That was the case with Berto’’s improvement too. He was incorporating two different types of training and was exercising 6 and sometimes even 7 days a week.

Below, we bring you a workout program, very similar to the one Berto used for his preparation. Obviously his workout routine keeps changing, but the following routine is definitely worth a shot.

    2. Thruster – 10 reps
    3. Jerk – 10 reps

    Sunday – REST DAY

There’s not much, we can speak about when it comes to Andre’s diet. He definitely eats clean and healthy food. Every professional boxer should be aware of the importance of eating food that is rich in protein. Also, avoiding processed and high-fat foods such as hamburgers, French fries, pizza and refined oils has a huge impact on both – decrease in performance and slowed muscle building process.
